Great Ocean Road
The region starts near the western outskirts of Melbourne, encompasses Geelong and the Bellarine Peninsula, and follows the coastline, and it's hinterland, west to the South Australian border. Geelong and Henty are the two official wine regions. The Geelong Wine Growers Association conducts an 'Eat, Drink, Discover' event in July to celebrate the region's finest food, wine, boutique beers and ciders. The Association also conducts the 'Great Geelong Wine Pour' and the 'Toast to the Coast' festival. Geelong is also home to the 'Great Australian Beer Festival' in April.

Apostle Whey Cheese

Apostle Whey Cheese is a 367 acre dairy farm with a herd of 250 Friesian and Jersey cows. All cheeses are made using high quality milk and vegetarian renet. An exciting range of cheeses that include smoked blue, blue vein, washed rind, camembert and brie.
Barwon Lamb is bred on the banks of the Barwon River between Inverleigh and Winchelsea. The lambs are raised on fresh pastures and lucerne, and are protected from extreme weather conditions by an extensive native tree plantation. 15,000 trees have been planted over the past five years.

Operating since 2005 it produces small quantities of fine, handcrafted cheese and yoghurt from the small herd of Saanen milking goats.

Gentle Annie Berry Farm is a pick-your-own berry farm using organic practices, with a licensed farm house cafe and a local produce shop. There are nine types of berries grown as well as currants, apples, pears plums, and apricots. The picking season is from November to April.

Lighthouse Olive Grove

Lighthouse Olive Grove is the largest olive grove on The Bellarine, with 11,000 trees on 165 acres, producing table olives and extra virgin olive oil. The Grove also produces a range of processed fused citrus oils. The olive varieties grown includes three Spanish, three Italian, one greek and one Israeli. There are three different varieties of table olives.

Manzanillo Grove, with over 4,500 olive trees and seven different varieties, was established in 1997 in the fertile valleys of the Bellarine Peninsula. Their olive oils are not heat extracted at any stage of production and therefore are always of the highest quality, with a flavour unique to the grove.

Otway Estate enjoys an idyllic setting with 16 acres of vines hidden among 28 acres of bush adjoining the Otway State Forest. The Prickly Moses Beers and Forbidden Fruit Ciders are produced by Otway Brewing, the on-site brewery. Pennyroyal Raspberry Farm is open daily for pick-your-own throughout the berry season which runs from the first weekend of December until the season ends around mid- January. The farm is the oldest working berry farm in the south west of Victoria. Everything is grown organically. Try the newly released orchard cider.
