Follow my trail of some of my favourite must-see wineries in Mornington Peninsula.
Montalto Vineyard & Olive Grove: Home to a talented winemaker specialising in cool climate wines. With a wine portfolio ranging from Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Shiraz, Pinot Noir and more, there’s definitely something for everyone to drink. The attached restaurant on the estate compliments the winery with its delicious menu spotlighting plenty of local ingredients and even olive oil from its own olive grove. Enjoy some scrumptious grub paired with their Pinot Grigio.
Ten Minutes by Tractor: Modern cellar door designed with a contemporary wine list of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wines to match. The youthful and fun vibe offered by the team there is energising and makes wine tasting a dynamic and memorable experience. Try the Chardonnay.
Port Phillip Estate and Kooyong: A powerhouse in the region with an outstanding line up of Burgundian style wines that focus on several single vineyards. A great line up of wines, such as its Estate Chardonnay, will have a wine aficionado's mouth watering with joy.
Stonier Wines: One of the original winemakers of the region and consistently focused on making exceptional Pinot Noir. The selection of wines that are based on premium vineyard sites and specialist viticulture is evident in the wines’ quality. Opt for the classic guided tasting and ask for the Reserve Pinot Noir.
