Barilla Bay

Barilla Bay was established in 1980 by the Forrest family who chose the location for it's pristine water quality and tidal movement. The addition of a processing shed in 1988, with health and export accreditation, enabled the company to process, split and pack shellfish. In 1992 their farm shop was opened allowing visitors to purchase oysters 'fresh out of the water'.
