Hartzview Vineyard

Hartzview, as the name would suggest, is a hillside vineyard looking across the Huon River to the Hartz Mountains. The three hectare vineyard was established in 1988 on the site of an old gooseberry farm. The owners, Robert and Anthea Patterson, produce varietal table wines, ports, liqueurs and mead.

Cygnet Produce Trail

Cygnet is a lovely small village south of Hobart where 'natural' and 'sustainable' are words and practices truly woven into the fabric of local country life. This trail starts near Huonville, passes through Cygnet and finishes on the shores of Great Bay. Wine, mead, liqueurs, native pepperberries, saffron and sheep milk cheese. (Note that Tas-Saff saffron farm needs an appointment to visit)
